Weddings are hard work, but so much fun. There’s so much wonderful energy to tap in to. After a full day, I usually come home as high as a kite, and it takes a few hours to come down. Then I’m wrecked for the next day, and all I can manage is a quick look at what I captured. It’s really nice to be invited into someone’s special day. As the photographer, you spend more time with the bride than anyone else, so it’s really important to develop a strong sense of trust. Having a good sense of humour helps as well!
